Lockwood Smocks to Exhibit at the Eventing European Championships at Blenheim Palace

Lockwood Smocks is proud to announce its presence at the 2025 Eventing European Championships at Blenheim Palace, one of the most prestigious fixtures in the international equestrian calendar.

A British company built on authenticity, craftsmanship, and community, Lockwood designs and manufactures premium smocks and countrywear for riders, soldiers, field sportsmen, and those who live and work in the country.

Founded by Jacob, a serving British Army Non-Commissioned Officer with a deep connection to the equestrian world, Lockwood Smocks has quickly earned a reputation for hard-wearing outerwear that performs in the toughest conditions. Every item is 100% British-manufactured—celebrating British craftsmanship and proudly supporting the British economy.

Lockwood’s presence at Blenheim reflects a growing commitment to supporting grassroots riders and the next generation of equestrian talent. The brand proudly sponsors several up-and-coming riders across the UK who embody its values of determination, authenticity, and grit:

Billy – An amateur jockey and former 2* event rider with dressage experience to Prix St. George level. Billy joined the Lockwood team in April 2025. With a BHS Stage 4 qualification, he is currently riding out for Max Young and working towards his Category B licence.

Lucy – Based in Cornwall, where she runs her own dental practice and raises her two boys, Lucy joined the Lockwood team in April. She is currently riding Waternish Bridle Lane (owned by Trilby Crewes), with recent placings at Larkhill and Chard at BE90 level. Moving up to BE100 this season, her sights are set on the Badminton Grassroots Championships.

Lilia – A 17-year-old eventer currently competing at BE Novice, Lilia is an ambitious young rider with a passion for producing horses. She plans to step up to 2* this season and is working toward a long-term professional career in eventing.

Hettie Walker – Also 17, Hettie is based near Penrith on the edge of the Lake District and currently competes with her Connemara, Pal, at BE90. This year, she is stepping up to BE100 with Pumpkin (owned by Jan Ball) and aiming for Novice and 1*. She also rides out racehorses in her spare time and will be heading to Hartpury University to study Equine Performance and Rehabilitation.

Lockwood is also proud to support Ebony Horse Club, a Brixton-based charity that uses horses to inspire and empower young people growing up in challenging circumstances. A percentage of profits from every item sold goes toward helping Ebony Horse Club and other charities that share Lockwood’s belief in the transformative power of horses.

Visitors to Blenheim will have the opportunity to see the full Lockwood range in person and meet the team behind the brand. From the battlefield to the bridle path, Lockwood Smocks are built to go the distance.

Come and find us at our stand in the Exhibitor Village. We’ll be there all week with smocks, stories, and a shared love of horses.
